James Limborg - Roseville, Minnesota rock guitarist, instrumental, song music-writer who has toured nationally performing with MCA Records pop-group ‘the JETS’* playing guitar, drums and keyboards at their LIVE performances. After playing for the Jets, I played guitar for Ingrid Chavez** at Prince’s Paisley Park studios.
*The Jets are a family group from Minneapolis, Minnesota who specialize in pop, R&B and dance music and had a number of Hot 100 hits, including 5 that hit the Top 10: “Crush On You”, “You Got It All”, “Cross My Broken Heart”, “Rocket 2 U”, and “Make It Real”.
**Ingrid Chavez. A Prince protege, Chavez made news when she claimed she’d written, but received no credit for, Madonna’s “Justify My Love” (Chavez was proved in the right). Her style is unusual, consisting of breathy spoken passages over a heavy dance beat.
